Riyadh Metro rules, fines and tickets

One 2-hour ticket covers any number of rides and transfers on the metro and Riyadh buses. Children under 6 travel free with an adult.

Students, older people, people with disabilities, cancer patients and first-degree relatives of martyrs get 50% off on the metro and buses. The discount is checked at a station ticket office; tapping a bank card at the gate always charges the full fare.
